Upholstery in Philadelphia: New Life for Old Furniture

I’d ask if you’ve felt the frustrations of delayed deliveries on furniture pieces for your projects, but that would be a silly question, wouldn’t it?

With all the back orders and delays, our designers have found upholstery and reupholstery services to be a life-saver.

And guess what? We can do that!

It’s true! We may be known for our beautiful custom window treatments, but we’re also your go-to resource for all your upholstery needs.

Today, I’ll share a variety of upholstery projects we’ve done over the years.

Custom Banquette Upholstery

BEFORE. Custom Banquette in need of new fabric.

This cozy corner with all the beautiful windows is the perfect spot for these lovely clients to enjoy their morning coffee and casual meals. But over time, the fabric on the banquette seat became worn and needed a refresh.

AFTER. Custom banquette with new upholstery. For the talented Page Brady and Kelly Brady.

We railroaded the beautiful new fabric to ensure there were no seams, and made sure the seat cushions were reversible. This dining nook is brunch-ready!

Loveseat Upholstery

BEFORE. Loveseat in need of new upholstery.

Furniture wears over time. The fabric thins, and the cushions can become less supportive. But that doesn’t mean it has to be replaced.

AFTER. New fabric makes a world of difference. For the talented Page Brady and Kelly Brady.

With a little love, a reupholstered loveseat or sofa can be better than new – no 6+ month lead time! This loveseat has down cushions, which we stripped and recovered. Don’t you love the new fabric?

Chair & Ottoman Upholstery

BEFORE. Chair & ottoman in need of an update.

This chair and ottoman is in one of the client’s bedrooms, and needed some extra cushioning and an updated look.

AFTER. A completely new look with the new fabric. For the talented Page Brady and Kelly Brady.

Voila! We added some dacron cushion wrap to make the chair softer and fuller with rounded edges, providing a more comfortable seat. The updated fabric did wonders for this set – a completely different – and beautiful – look for this bedroom.

Custom Headboards & Bedding

BEFORE. This bedroom is in need of an update. New headboard, bedding, and custom draperies, coming right up!

This was a unique project because we actually reupholstered the headboard on site. It would have had to be completely dismantled in order for us to take it back to the workroom, so we chose to do the work in the client’s home.

We stripped off the existing fabric and carefully added the new fabric.

And the result? Complete transformation.

AFTER. Such a beautiful bedroom. For the talented Page Brady.

Our services go far beyond windows. We can support you on all your soft furnishings needs. From custom pillows, bedding, headboards, and beyond.

Dining Chair Upholstery

BEFORE. These dining chairs no longer suit the client’s decor.

These dining chairs were part of a lovely set, but the homeowner renovated and the dining chairs no longer suited the new decor. No need to replace the dining set - we can reupholster with new fabric.

AFTER. We love this fabric selected by the fabulous Henck Design.

The new fabrics selected by Christina Henck of Henck Design are stunning together, and provide just the update these dining chairs needed.

Outdoor Furniture Upholstery

Outdoor Furniture can be maintained and revived with new upholstery.

Outdoor furniture, even when covered with an outdoor fabric, eventually needs replacement. But rather than replace the entire cushion, we can help you with upholstery that will bring your client’s outdoor furniture back to life.

Quality outdoor fabrics and both beautiful and durable.

We are well-versed when it comes to outdoor fabrics and outdoor projects. We can help you select the perfect fabrics and reupholster and of your client’s outdoor furniture.
