Art For Peace: The Results Are In!

Art for Peace Fundraiser is in the books!!!

My friends and co-hosts (Kat Beregovaia, Natasha Karpenko, and Yelena Galitskaya) and I are overwhelmed with gratitude for the support, care, positive energy, and help we have received this past Saturday and the weeks leading up to the event.

Art For Peace by the numbers:

~500 items for sale - possibly more, we lost count

~100 people came out on a very rainy day

~$15,000 raised in total (with more donations still coming in).

That is incredible, and we are so humbled by everyone’s generosity.

It took a village to make this happen, and we would like to thank everyone who played a role.

Plus a few anonymous donors.

We would like to thank the community, each and every single one of you, who has made a donation, purchased something at the market, and came to support the cause. 💙💛

Without all of you, this simply would not be possible.

An important thank you for inspiring us to organize this event goes out to Elena Barlow of Stella's House and Alina Tourkova.

Stella’s House - https://www.ukrainemoldova.com - has been focusing on helping Ukrainian refugees in Moldova who live with hosts and in small refugee centers - by paying for utility bills, buying groceries, basic hygiene products, medications, and necessary supplies for families.

Additionally, Stella's House is supporting volunteers in Kharkhiv and Kyiv with finances to deliver groceries and medication to those most in need including elderly and disabled.

You can continue to support this charity by donating directly on their website https://www.ukrainemoldova.com.

We stand with Ukraine.

Thank you!
